Pivotal Lamp
The pivotal lamp aims to shift the hierarchy of interaction points of a lamp to create something which is intuitive and offers precise lighting control.
The user has full control of the lamp head from the rear handle - when this is angled, the head moves with it. This handle also acts as a counterweight.
The whole top surface of the lamp base is a rocker switch. The idea is to make the switch feel like a much higher priority feature of the product than it often is on a lamp, and provide joy through the tactility of this.
